Patrick Sébastien experienced a chaotic Christmas celebration. As revealed by our colleagues from BFMTV this Saturday, the 70-year-old host and singer was also the victim of a burglary on December 21in his main residence in Boulogne-Billancourt. With an area of more than 450 square meters, his house was targeted by a break-in around 6:30 p.m. As detailed by the news channel directed by Marc-Olivier Fogiel, the authors passed through the garden located at the house’s quarry. An investigation has since been opened by the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office, and the investigations have been entrusted to the banditry suppression brigade of the departmental police-judicial service (SDPJ) of Hauts-de-Seine.
The first elements of the investigation suggest that there is no pre-established link between the burglaries suffered by other personalities in recent months. This new burglary would be distinct from all the others, which would have as foreman a 26 year old young man named Kamel, and who was tried in immediate appearance this Thursday, January 4, 2024 according to Le Parisien. The man, suspected to recruit young minor thieves in the cities in order to push them to commit the burglaries in his place, would be at the origin of the burglaries perpetrated at the homes of Bruno Guillon, Ciryl Gane, Vitaa and Nikos Aliagas. PSG footballer Alexandre Letellier was also targeted by a homejacking last August, alongside his wife.A first burglary in 2019 with more than €150,000 in losses
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that Patrick Sébastien has been faced with a burglary. On August 3, 2019, the former host of Largest cabaret in the world and Years of happiness on France 2 had been the victim of a first home-jacking, and the thieves had left with a pharaonic loot consisting of jewelry, branded clothing, for a total estimated at more than 150,000 euros. One thing is certain: after the burglaries suffered by Vitaa, Ciryl Gane, Bruno Guillon, Nikos Aliagas and Patrick Sébastien, all French personalities, and more particularly those in the audiovisual sector, are on alert!
