“I have decided not to continue the adventure started at the end of September on BFM TV”he indicated on his Instagram account in a long message where he did not fail to thank Marc-Olivier Fogiel for the trust he placed in him. “I could hide behind the international situation and the dramatic news which certainly did not make my task easier when I arrived”he continued before showing lucidity: “but it is clear that the public did not follow me as much as we hoped in this different role for me”.

Laurent Ruquier did not warn Julie Hammett of his departure
Following his announcement, Laurent Ruquier announced that he would continue to host the Big heads on RTLbut that he would return to television “only on condition that the pleasure is shared with the viewers”. the pair of Laurent Ruquier explains in fact: “I discovered at the same time as everyone else during the holidays that Laurent Ruquier had decided to leave BFMTV”.
The journalist nevertheless recognizes that he “asked questions” but thought “that he would go until June.” “Right away, I sent him a little message to tell him that it was a pleasure to work with him during this first trimester and that I hoped the decision had not been too difficult to make”, she continued. Following her interview, the journalist did not fail to praise her now ex-partner, a man “very friendly who doesn’t take himself seriously”.
