In Ukraine, the conflict with Russia is entering its third year. New Russian strikes took place during the night of December 31 to January 1. They left at least five dead.

An escalation of violence
Already yesterday, Kharkiv (Ukraine) was hit by the Russian army, in retaliation for the unprecedented attack of this Saturday, December 30. An escalation of violence since the surprise attack carried out by Russia on several Ukrainian towns, leaving around forty dead. A day of mourning will also be observed this Monday, January 1 in kyiv.
