Addressing the Minister of Health Olivier Véran, they ask him to take control of health measures in education, the prerogative of Jean-Michel Blanquer, and to develop a new protocol.

In view of the epidemic figures, “since the beginning of November, more than 300,000 children and adolescents have been confirmed positive for Covid-19”, they also alert to the fact that hospitalizations of children in conventional services and intensive care, “have exceeded the peaks of all previous waves, with more than 800 children under 10 and 300 adolescents aged 10-19 hospitalized in six weeks.” They also worry “an unprecedented wave in the coming weeks” to have to take care of children with multisystem inflammatory syndrome (Pims), a severe form of Covid-19 specific to children.
