An exhibition dedicated to Johnny Hallyday has just been launched at the Parc des Expositions in Paris. To ensure its promotion, Laeticia Hallyday has been doing television interviews for several weeks. For the first time, his daughters Jade and Joy also agreed to talk about the complicated mourning after the death of their dad in December 2017.
After a first TV interview with Audrey Crespo-Mara in Seven to Eight on TF1, it’s on the set of the show What an era presented by Léa Salamé and broadcast on France 2 that they made an appearance this Saturday, December 23, 2023. Aged 19 and 15 respectively, Jade and Joy were then questioned about their childhood. “He was like a father, was he a strict dad or a cool one?” for example asked the presenter. And the two young girls responded: “Very cool, it was mom who was much stricter than dad! […] When we got bad grades they told us that it wasn’t very serious, that we could do better”. A simple but cute interview during which Joy actually burst into tears when she saw images of her and her father when she was a baby.

Unfortunately, viewers did not really appreciate this moment, which was described as uninteresting on social networks. Once again, Laeticia Hallyday’s daughters spoke of the fact that their older brothers and sisters, David Hallyday and Laura Smet, completely disappeared from their lives after their father’s burial, in particular because of the war between them. to Laeticia Hallyday.
At the end of the show, they also sent a message to their late dad, a slightly embarrassing sequence for Internet users who expressed their feelings.
So this is Lea Salamé’s TV….??? “How did you learn of your father’s death?….Your mother’s love life?….David and Laura and the inheritance?”….TV Rubbish! #QuelleEpoque

THE #Hallyday sisters vs Léa Salamé: Same questions (and, inevitably, same answers) as in 7à8 and Match two weeks ago, same feeling of space emptiness in an embarrassing and useless sequence. Pardon,@LeaSalamebut you are worth much better than that… #QuelleEpoque
