“Despite these hypotheses of sectoral agreements, the problem remains unsolved with regard to central table issues. In particular, salary issues must be resolved in order to avoid an unlimited general strike by the Common Front at the start of 2024,” the union which negotiates for some 170,000 members said on Facebook.

Other settlement hypotheses have been concluded in the last hours, including with the Alliance of Professional and Technical Personnel in Health and Social Services (APTS).

Discussions continue at the central table concerning salaries, in particular, and the unions affiliated to the Common Front maintain their threat of an unlimited general strike in January if there is no agreement.

More details to come.
