A man was shot and injured on Saturday evening by gunfire linked to drug trafficking in a district of Grenoble, the city’s prosecutor’s office announced on Sunday December 17.
At least ten bullets were fired from a weapon of war, undoubtedly a Kalashnikov, around 6:30 p.m. in the Alma district, not far from downtown Grenoble, according to the prosecution. “This shooting is due to a turf war. The team holding the deal point had just been ousted and sought to get it back last night”details the parquet.
“The man found with a gunshot wound to one foot is currently hospitalized”, but his days are not in danger, explained the Grenoble public prosecutor, Eric Vaillant. He is “unfavorably known to the courts”, specifies the prosecutor. Another shooting occurred in the same neighborhood later on Saturday evening, at the same deal point, without causing any injuries.
