An investigation opened after the death of an actress who had accused Gérard Depardieu of sexual violence

A Facebook post discusses facts dating back to 1982

The prosecution mentions a Facebook post dating from 2019 in which the actress “complained of inappropriate behavior by Gérard Depardieu”. Since then, around ten other women have accused him in the press, including actress Hélène Darras. His complaint, filed on September 10 for sexual assault, concerns facts that are a priori prescribed. It is currently being analyzed.
