More than a hundred Israeli soldiers have been killed since the start of the ongoing ground offensive in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army announced. She revealed on Monday December 11 the identity of three other soldiers killed in the fighting in the Palestinian territory. New strikes in Khan Younes. During the night from Sunday to Monday, an AFP reporter reported powerful airstrikes on the town of Khan Younes, in the south of the enclave, without us being able to confirm this information. The Hamas health ministry in Gaza reported “tens” deaths in night raids.
Hamas warns Israel. “No prisoner or detainee (…) has been and will not be released outside the framework of the conditional exchange that we announced at the start of the battle”, warned Abou Obeida, spokesperson for the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, on Sunday. He added that none of the hostages in the Gaza Strip would come out “alive” without “an exchange and a negotiation, and without responding to the demands of the resistance”.
Benjamin Netanyahu calls on Hamas fighters to surrender. The Israeli Prime Minister on Sunday called on Hamas fighters to lay down their arms without delay. “The war continues, but this is the beginning of the end of Hamas”he said in a press release. “I say to the Hamas terrorists: this is the end. Do not die for [le chef du mouvement à Gaza, Yahya] Sinwar. See you now!”
