The teenager arrested on Saturday “confessed” to be the author of the murder of his two parents, whose bodies were found charred in the rubble of their family home in Châteauvilain (Isère), announced the Grenoble prosecutor’s office on Sunday December 3.
“I confirm that young Valentin confessed to the police to being the author of the murder of his parents”indicated Grenoble prosecutor Eric Vaillant in a brief press release. “I won’t say any more at this stage.”added the prosecutor.
The prosecution opened a judicial investigation for assassinations and destruction by fire after the discovery of the two bodies on November 26. The 15-year-old boy had disappeared before being arrested in Montpellier and placed in police custody.
