It’s been eighteen seasons since Harry Roselmack presents the magazine Seven to Eight. Every Sunday, the journalist offers various societal topics, framed by a portrait of the week, which gives pride of place to a celebrity, or to a personality who has made the news. This meeting, long embodied by Thierry Demaizière, was entrusted from 2018 to Stéphanie Davoigneau, who handed over two years later to Audrey Crespo-Mara. In a few weeks, Thierry Ardisson’s partner will interview Joy and Jade Hallydaya first for the two teenagers who had never given a television interview to anyone since the death of their father, Johnny Hallyday, almost six years ago.
Guest ofWe’re doing TV again on RTL this Saturday, December 2, 2023, Harry Roselmack settled scores with two celebrities who had filmed their portraits for the week but who finally, at the last minute, asked that they not be broadcast: “It has happened to my knowledge twice; at least twice since I presented the show. And I won’t give the names”said the man who for several years was the joker of Patrick Poivre d’Arvor and Laurence Ferrari on TF1 news. Harry Roselmack subsequently claimed that the guests interviewed by Audrey Crespo-Mara had no influence on the portrait that was broadcast: “They don’t have the right to view it, they don’t have the right to modify it. Portrait of the weekit’s confession” he explained.
Confessions that celebrities have not accepted
“This interview is done in confidence; that is to say that the person who comes, no one has ever felt trapped by the portrait, except, indeed, these two people, who had the feeling , a posteriori, that they had given themselves too muchthat they had indulged themselves too much, and that they could not manage the aftermath“ he explained. Harry Roselmack reveals that the production of Seven to Eight did not insist in any way with his two guests, and heard their complaints: “We didn’t even allow ourselves to insist, because we were aware that the consequences of the broadcast of his statements would be complicated for the people concerned and those around them to manage“. Harry Roselmack indicated that the interviews could last “30 minutes if things are very fluid” but could also “last a little”.
