The LR mayor of Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme), Marie-Hélène Thoraval, filed a complaint on Wednesday, November 29, after receiving death threats by telephone and on social networks. A few days ago, she called on the State to act against delinquency in a sensitive area of her city, where several suspects in the murder of young Thomas come from. This news item had provoked violent demonstrations by the ultra-right in this same neighborhood. Gatherings of the same type planned for Saturday were banned in the department.
Hunters away from a deer in the Loiret
In Normandy, the price of the registration document will increase, from 35 to 46 euros, an increase of 31%. The community justifies this increase by the drop in revenue from certain taxes and the need for new investments in transport. Other regions such as Île-de-France and Centre-Val de Loire have adopted similar measures.
In the Loiret, at Ingrannes, a deer chased by hunters found itself trapped in a resident’s garden. Sylvain Saucet then drove the dogs away with a jet of water, and intervened in front of the hunters to make them leave and protect the animal. Since 2019, a decree has prohibited hunters from pursuing animals into inhabited or commercial areas.
