He played himself in several episodes of the television series “Ten percent“, on France 2 notably, but also in a few feature films including “Stephane” And “Addict”. Julien Doré is starring in the series “Panda”, this November 30, 2023, on TF1. He plays Victor Pandaloni, aka Panda (a nod to the music video for “Cuddle Coco”, in which he appeared in… panda outfit), a pacifist, zen and vegan cop, who is back on duty. And for this role, he had to literally strip himself naked.
“Doing it naked while playing was a different story!”
As he explains in an interview with TF1, regarding the opening scene which sees Panda appear completely naked in front of Lola, played by Ophelia Kolb: “Playing comedy like this is clearly not easy! In addition, it’s an important scene: the meeting between Lola and Panda and in which I immediately had to dismantle a weapon. I had learned the gesture from a stuntman but doing it naked while acting was a different story!”
Fortunately, the singer and actor was able to enjoy “from a very cool and sunny environment” on the set. As for this role, it’s not really a composition, recognizes the one who was revealed by Nouvelle Star. “Aside from certain caricatured reliefs, Panda is me!” he said.
