Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin will file a complaint after receiving death threats, “obviously ultra-right”at the Ministry of the Interior, Franceinfo learned Thursday, November 30 from the minister’s entourage.
These threats were sent via a simple contact form on the Interior Ministry website. In one of the messages received, an individual wrote: “I wanted to warn you that we are going to neutralize you, you are not defending the flag”. “Even if you are surrounded by police officers, you will not stop a bullet (…) Your life time shortens with each passing second”. The entourage of Gérald Darmanin, who believes that these threats come “obviously ultra-right” therefore indicates Thursday, November 30 to franceinfo that the minister intends to file a complaint.
Minister Gérald Darmanin announced Tuesday, November 28, requesting the dissolution of three small ultra-right groups, including the Martel Division, after numerous raids by ultra-right activists in several cities in reaction to the death of Thomas in Crépol.
