“Be interested in people, show empathy with your guests and know how to laugh on command” : these are the qualities that would be absolutely required, if there were a job description for the perfect TV presenter.
To succeed on the small screen, it is indeed better to be friendly and close to people… Or at least to appear to be so! This is how a certain host became a real star of the PAF. For decades, he has established himself as the ideal son-in-law/father/brother/friend. The nicest guy in France, who smiles so much that you know each of his teeth. What is less known is that in addition to its canines, it also regularly shows its fangs. Because beneath his gentleman exterior Perfect, it actually hides a dark side… A temperament in any case much more mocking, even cruel.
“His audience would never suspect that, but it’s a real viper’s tongue”, reveals to us a very well informed source. “He spends his time gossiping.” His favorite targets? Competition. “He is one of the most established animators in France. He would have no need to criticize his colleagues. But that doesn’t stop him from doing it! He even undermines those who work in the media where he continues to evolve.” And not discreetly either!
Because our man is not content to mock colleagues in private, with his intimates. “He even does it with the journalists who come to interview him and whom he meets for the first time, we are confirmed. He relays the worst rumors and gossip, or he makes jokes about their audiences or their private lives. I don’t know if it’s pure malice, or if he wants to show off, but it’s hard. He is even capable of attacking people’s looks…” We didn’t say the physical! Especially since such tackles, we would never imagine them coming from the man whom a large part of France admires and adores. So you don’t always have to believe the fable of the affable person!
