And for Charlotte Gainsbourg, it seems that it is mainly for the second reason that the public shunned the series. In an interview given to Inrocks, this November 29, 2023, the actress explains: “the Nicolas Bedos series in which I played was completely thrown in the trash following the accusations made against him”.

If Charlotte Gainsbourg wants to separate the man from the work, she does not at all want to blame the Me Too movement. Also, she defends: “Women’s voices were opened up because justice was not doing its job, so fortunately these women had the courage to speak, and it is thanks to them that others were able to speak.
