Emmanuel Macron regrets a “terrible assassination”

President Emmanuel Macron denounced, Wednesday November 22, the “terrible assassination” of young Thomas, who, he declared, gave us “all marked”. The teenager was killed during a ball in Crépol (Drôme) on the night of Saturday November 18 to Sunday November 19.

“We have to face more and more episodes of violence against you, elected representatives of the Republic, but also episodes of violence which have marked us all”noted the Head of State in a speech to mayors, invited to a reception at the Elysée.

Around 6,000 people were present on Wednesday in Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) to pay tribute to young Thomas during a white march, reports France Bleu Drôme-Ardèche. The gathering left at 1:30 p.m. from the Dauphiné high school, where Thomas was enrolled in his final year.
