Val-d’Oise: spectacular escape of an inmate from Osny prison

The spectacular escape of an inmate from the remand centerOsny (Val d’Oise) had place in front of the emergency room of Pontoise hospital, on the evening of December 21. Around 9 p.m., Louis F. is extracted from his cell: he just mutilated himself and of simulate a suicide attempt.

The detainee is therefore transported to the hospital, located barely two kilometers from the penitentiary center. Two prison officers escort him and get out of the fire truck with him. A woman then appears, takes out a pump-action rifle which she hid under a blanket, and shoots twice. One of the officers is shot in the back. Protected by his bulletproof vest, he was slightly injured. The detainee and his accomplice run off and flee in a vehicle. The plan, carefully prepared, worked perfectly.
