New creature
Monday morning, Quebec supported the creation of the Society for the Development of Land in the East of Montreal (SMTEM), by injecting $100 million to purchase and decontaminate strategic industrial land.
Montreal already had $100 million four years ago to rehabilitate contaminated land. This new $100 million brings the sums invested to more than $200 million.
Investissement Québec (IQ) will be the sole sponsor of the new creature of the Legault government. Fondaction will act as general partner.
