The Made in France show is being held in Paris until Sunday November 12. The ambition is to promote local industries. On this occasion, 12/13 info welcomes Alexandra Broussaud, director of the eponymous company which manufactures French socks.
Asked about the interest for his company in being present at the Made in France show, Alexandre Broussaud specifies that it is “most important exhibition of the year”. “This allows us to meet our customers, what we call B2C (…). This show still brings together more than 100,000 visitors, so for us there is enormous potential to show our products, and then to sell. Beyond that, there are also professional visitors who come, we meet our professional clients”specifies the director of the Broussaud company.
A family heirloom
But why choose made in France, when production costs are lower abroad? “We are a somewhat historic family business, which has existed since 1938. Over the generations we have continued our know-how and this manufacturing. Even if our history was a little difficult, we had to go abroad, which is what made it possible to maintain the structure in France. Our know-how is there, our profession is there”, concludes Alexandre Broussaud.
