Who better than a comedian to succeed a comedian? Most of the personalities who were named by our respondents come from the humor sector. The artist who was mentioned most often? Patrick Huard. “She is a loved and respected person in the artistic colony, who has a good sense of humor and who has a broad spectrum of knowledge of our society,” Daniel Des Autels writes to us. Here we see the comedian on stage with Louis-José Houde, during The Ultimate Just for Laughs gala, last summer.

Pier-Luc Funk is our respondents’ favorite, after Patrick Huard, to host the ADISQ gala. It must be said that the actor (and outstanding improviser) hosted the MAMMOUTH evening, very popular with young people, for many years. Some also see him hosting the gala in tandem with Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse.

Pierre-Yves Lord seems to have made a good impression at the last Gémeaux evening, since 19 respondents would like to see him return to service, this time at ADISQ. “Yes, you see him everywhere, but he loves music. We know it. We can consider his animation of Gemini as a (good) practice move,” Jeanne-Mance Soucy writes to us.

Several readers would like to see a woman host the great music festival… Ironically: it is almost only the names of men that have been suggested to us. Among the potential presenters, France Beaudoin clearly stands out. “France’s rigor and love of the artistic world as well as its quality of creating memories make it a candidate of choice,” affirms Serge Sabourin.

Our readers seem curious to see how Marc Labrèche’s fantasy could color the ADISQ gala. Yves Lahaie lists the qualities that would make him the host of the show I am coming to you a good master of ceremonies: “Himself a knowledgeable music lover, crazy humor, adored by the public and undoubtedly very credible among the members of the ADISQ, capable of self-deprecation as well as touches of irony towards others. »
