Hamas attack on Israel: were journalists warned in advance? – (FRANCEINFO)
Several journalists from Gaza are accused of having followed Hamas attackers in Israel on October 7. Were they warned in advance?
In one photo, we see press photographers taking a photo of a woman being kidnapped by Hamas, which sparks controversy. Another visual raises questions. On the right, we see Hassan Eslaiah, a freelance photographer, and on the left, one of the Hamas leaders who was the mastermind of the October 7 attacks. The latter kisses Hassan Eslaiah on the cheek, which shows an obvious complicity between the two men.
Several media outlets explain
This second photo dates from before the Hamas attacks. Does it prove culpable collusion between terrorists and certain photographers? Were they notified in advance? No, says Hassan Eslaiah. In a video taken on the morning of October 7, he is on a motorcycle. One of the passengers is holding a grenade in his hand. He posted the video about an hour after the attack began. We see him ten minutes before in front of a burning tank. Several media outlets that used his work are explaining themselves today, including CNN, which states: “We had no prior knowledge of the October 7 attacks.” Reuters and AP made similar statements.
