Former solidarity MP Catherine Dorion will be on stage in 2025 to present a documentary theater on democracy.
Catherine Dorion will launch in a few days a book on her time in politics, and this show, entitled Sciences po 101, Treatise on insubordination for use by the real worldaddresses related themes, ranging from people’s “feeling of helplessness” to “ambient media overload.”
A press release describes the piece as “interactive and immersive”. During this, the public will be asked to vote and express themselves in various ways.
To produce this work, Catherine Dorion surrounded herself with director Alexandre Fecteau and actor-creator Vincent Massé-Gagné.
Dates are planned for February 2025 at the Salle Octave-Crémazie in Quebec and in April at the Cinquième salle at Place des Arts in Montreal.
The former MP is also due to launch a new book on November 13, The hotheads, Punk notebooks of hope. This is a diary she kept during her four years in office.
