Mason McTavish broke the tie with 3:40 remaining, Sam Carrick scored two late goals and the Anaheim Ducks came from behind in the third period to hand the Golden Knights their first regulation loss of Vegas this season by winning 4-2 on Sunday.
Carrick scored the tying goal with 9:05 left in the third period and added an empty-net goal for the Ducks, who won their sixth straight game.
Adam Henrique scored early in the third period for the Ducks, who erased a two-goal deficit against the defending Stanley Cup champions. The latter had obtained at least one point in their first 12 meetings this season.
Going back to the end of last season, the Golden Knights had not lost in regulation time in their last 20 games. This is the second longest streak of its kind in the last 40 years.
John Gibson made 29 saves for the Ducks, who scored four goals on five shots in the final period.
Ivan Barbashev and Jack Eichel threaded the needle for the Golden Knights, who seemed to lack energy at the end of this second game in as many days. Logan Thompson stopped 18 pucks.
Alex Killorn made his debut with the Ducks after missing the first 10 games with a broken finger. He was injured during a preseason game.
After 11 seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning, he accepted a four-year, US$25 million contract this summer.
The Golden Knights will be at the Bell Center on November 16. They inflicted a 3-2 shootout defeat on the Habs on October 30 in Nevada.

The Devils defeat the Blackhawks 4-2

Dawson Mercer and Max Willman scored in the first period and the New Jersey Devils defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2 on Sunday.
Curtis Lazar and Michael McLeod also lit the red light for the Devils, who have won six of their last eight games. Vitek Vanecek stopped 32 pucks to sign a sixth victory in eight starts.
Taylor Hall and Ryan Donato scored for the Blackhawks, who suffered their fifth loss in seven games. Arvid Soderblom finished the game with 36 saves.
Lazar deflected a John Marino shot to give the Devils the lead at 3:35 of the third period.
Vanecek made a big save on Philipp Kurashev with 1:12 left in the third, then McLeod put the puck into an empty net to seal the victory for the visitors.
Hall opened the scoring for the Blackhawks 1:51 into the first period. It was his second goal in as many games since returning to the game following an injury. Hall found the back of the net taking advantage of a rebound from Tyler Johnson.
Mercer tied the game with a wrist shot on a power play. It was the 18the Devils power play goal – an NHL high – in 11 games.
Willman, recalled from the Utica Comets on Saturday, made it 2-1 on a breakaway after defenseman Kevin Korchinski lost the puck at the Devils blue line.
The Devils muzzled rookie Connor Bedard, who had scored in his last three outings.
