The emergency is there in Gaza, particularly for children, while Israel still does not plan a ceasefire.

It is a canvas camp in the south of the Gaza Strip. Thousands of children are refugees there. In the aisles, they collect water or, like Nabil, they arrange food on a table to sell. “I sell cans to preserve (…) it’s to have a little money for my family”, specifies the child. Between the cars, you can find colorful toys that children sell for 25 cents. Other children deal with boredom by playing.

Injured children

Like most children, they fled northern Gaza. Near the camp there is a medical center. Hamas lets the France 2 teams film. “I was under the rubble, I thought I wasn’t going to get out. I couldn’t breathe, but thanks to God I was able to get through it”, says a young girl. In the camp, there are also idle children, and those who do not go out. “Mom only lets me go out for half an hour, because there are bombings and she is afraid for us”underlines a child.
