While Israel began to expel thousands of Gazans workers to the enclave, 34 French nationals were able to leave the Gaza Strip on Friday, November 3, towards Egypt. On the fighting front, Israeli ground forces continue to advance, supported by airstrikes. They claim to have surrounded Gaza City.
The French Institute in Gaza affected
On Friday, November 3, a bombing targeted an ambulance convoy which was preparing to evacuate wounded people to Egypt in front of the largest hospital in Gaza. The strike was recognized by Israel. The president of the World Health Organization said he was deeply “shocked” by the strike. The UN secretary general said he was horrified: “international humanitarian law must be respected. Civilians and civilian infrastructure must be protected.” An IDF strike also hit the French Institute in Gaza on Friday, November 3.
