According to a study conducted by the University of California, UCLA [lien en anglais], out of 1,000 people under 25, 13-24 year olds believe that sex is too present in films and series and that it adds nothing to the plot. Instead of romances, respondents would prefer “nomances”, that is to say stories centered on relationships other than romantic or sexual.
