The show “Secret Story” will return to TF1 after 14 years of absence. And while he was invited on the radio, this Monday morning, Henri Leconte returned to his son’s participation in the launch of the program which has become cult. This October 30, 2023, on Sud Radio, he explained about his eldest, Maxime, born in 1986: “It was a real secret, I am the son of Henri Leconte”.
“I am already very proud of my son”
And to add: “I’m already very proud of my son, because it allowed him to have his own personality, it’s never easy to be ‘the son of’. He came back and he learned a lot“. A choice towards reality TV which probably would not have been obvious to all parents, and yet, in 2007, Henri Leconte said: “he came to see me and asked me ‘dad, what do you think? I’m going to do that’. I told him ‘listen to me, I farmed (celebrities, editor’s note), so I’m not going to tell you not to do Secret Story. And in the end it went very well, he learned a lot of things”.
The only downside to this whole adventure, assures the ex tennis player with humor, is that he was surprised that everyone didn’t find his son’s secret more quickly, given how much they look alike! All’s well that ends well since the young man: “was in the semi-final, and then he had his own experience.” said his father.
“He works, he lives abroad”
And the dad gave good news about his son, this October 30, 2023. He revealed: “now he works, he lives abroad, he went to hotel school and now he runs an establishment abroad and he is really very, very happy.” The latest news is that he was in fact based in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, where he is general manager of the Rasputin nightclub.
