A new start for Jorge Martin on Sunday October 29? On Saturday, the Spanish driver flew through the sprint race of the Thai Grand Prix. On a good dynamic to completely reverse the end of the season and the leader Francesco Bagnaia, he had marked time during the last two race weekends, notably in Australia. Long in the lead, the Pramac Ducati rider collapsed at the very end of the race after a failed gamble in the choice of his tires. His teammate Johann Zarco took the opportunity to sign his first victory, “Pecco” Bagnaia, finally second, was delighted to be able to regain some air in the ranking.
In his quest for a double, the Italian is only 18 points ahead, not enough to be safe from a poor performance. Even more so after his uneventful seventh place in the sprint on Saturday, starting from sixth place. What if the Buriram route reshuffled the cards with three races remaining? The French Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) and Johann Zarco, 10e and 11e on the starting grid, can they achieve a fantastic comeback? Follow the race.
