The rotation continues in front of the Montreal Canadiens net. After two games off, and despite a meritorious outing from Samuel Montembeault against the Columbus Blue Jackets, it is Jake Allen who will defend the Canadian’s net this Saturday evening against the Winnipeg Jets.
Defenseman Kaiden Guhle will also return to action after four games out to treat an upper-body injury. He left the game against the Minnesota Wild a little over 10 days ago.
Martin St-Louis also announced to the media present that Joel Armia, freshly recalled from a stint of 4 goals in 4 games with the Laval Rocket, will play his first game of the season in the big league. Jesse Ylönen and Gustav Lindtröm will be left out.
