his forehead marked forever

Season 12 of the show “Le Meilleur Pâtissier” is in full swing on M6. For six weeks now, the candidates have been working hard to impress Cyril Lignac and Mercotte with their sweet recipes, each more original than the last. Among the star candidates of this season, we find Thibaut, a 24-year-old young man who has become a favorite of viewers.

Graduated with a master’s degree in nutrition, Thibaut has already achieved the feat of charming Pierre Hermé with a pepper cake. “People like vegetables in cakes! This show reassured me in the idea that I could do what I wanted” commented the young man in the columns of Télé Loisirs.

The young man then talks about the couple he forms with Emily, another candidate on the show. “We got closer little by little and we didn’t put words to it. We didn’t warn everyone by saying that we were together. Cyril and Mercotte didn’t know it but Marie Portolano is went to see the makeup artists to find out” he admitted, with a smile on his face.

Thibaut lifts the veil on his forehead scar

Thibaut, who seems well on his way to reaching the final of the show, then spoke about his private life and revealed where the scar visible on his forehead comes from. “I was 7 years old, I was riding my bike and I fell into a river. There was a big stone in the water and it was for me. I had a helmet but it didn’t help at all. “As this scar is exposed to the sun a lot, it has turned red and it will never go away. During the show, as we are running and we are hot, the blood rushes to our heads and the scar tends to appear.” he explained.
