(Dallas) Joe Pavelski and Esa Lindell scored in the Stars’ first two shots and Dallas edged out to a 7-4 win over the Minnesota Wild on Monday.
Pavelski scored at 1:31 and just 1: 53 later Lindell slipped the disc between the pads of shorthanded Cam Talbot.
Pavelski is eight goals and 17 points in his last 12 meetings.
Miro Heiskanen, Tyler Seguin, Roope Hintz, Jacob Peterson and Jamie Benn were the Stars’ other scorers.
Benn completed the score in an empty net.
Jason Robertson and Denis Gurianov provided two assists each, while Jake Oettinger made 19 saves.
Kevin Fiala scored twice for the Wild, who lost their fourth straight game. The streak comes after eight wins in a row.
Ryan Hartman and Kirill Kaprizov also hit the mark for Minnesota, while Talbot blocked 22 shots.
