Consumption: which shower gels to choose?

Present on the set of 13 Heures, Tuesday October 24, journalist Dorothée Lachaud calls on consumers to be wary of so-called “moisturizing” shower gels. “The consumer association UFC-Que Choisir carried out tests on several of these soaps, evaluating their action on dry skin. The results are edifying. Out of ten soaps and shower gels tested, four obtained a mediocre score. “They actually have the opposite effect and dry out the washed area.”reveals the journalist.

Solid or liquid soaps?

So to choose the right shower gel, she advises “favor fragrance-free soaps”. Dorothée Lachaud specifies that “Products labeled ‘Organic’ unsurprisingly obtain the highest marks in consumer association tests”. Finally between solid or liquid soaps, the journalist explains: “In the solid version, the soap has fewer ingredients than a shower gel and it keeps two to four times longer.”
