The next Cowboys Fringants album is indeed in production: singer Karl Tremblay recorded the vocals this week… in teleworking mode.
His partner, violinist Marie-Annick Lépine, published photos on Wednesday of this very special recording. “A big thank you to Piccolo Studios for allowing us to record Karl’s vocals from the comfort of our living room,” she wrote.
On Monday, the group’s guitarist, Jean-François Pauzé, announced that the group would release a new album at the end of the fall, the eleventh for the Cowboys Fringants, and their first since 2019.
After presenting a memorable concert on the Plains of Abraham this summer, the group announced at the end of September the cancellation of all its fall shows to allow Karl Tremblay to concentrate on his cancer treatments.
Karl Tremblay, who will celebrate his 47th birthday in a few days, suffers from prostate cancer.
