A new report shows “357 disruptions and protests” times of tribute to teachers Dominique Bernard killed in Arras and to Samuel Paty announced Wednesday October 18 the Ministry of National Education. The Minister of Education Gabriel Attal announced on Tuesday an initial assessment of “179 referrals to the public prosecutor” following incidents that occurred during Monday’s tributes. A next one “new report will be communicated later”the ministry said on Wednesday.
According to rue de Grenelle, “all these reports are the subject of a systematic referral to the public prosecutor and a disciplinary procedure for the students concerned. For the most serious cases which resemble threats or advocacy of terrorism , immediate exclusion of students is requested from school heads, without delay”.
For “Several dozens” of the 179 referrals to the public prosecutor announced Tuesday, which amount to the apology of terrorism, Gabriel Attal ordered “the exclusion of these students pending disciplinary procedures”. One student notably threatened to “put a bomb”two rejoiced that one “prof is dead”two others have “simulated weapons fire”according to the minister’s entourage.
