Den’é van Wyk has been working at Simpsons for just under two years. She arrived from Stellebonsh, a wine stronghold in South Africa. This year, the Simpsons estate hopes to produce 250,000 bottles, and up to 350,000 eventually. Enthusiastic and determined, the owners are benefiting from global warming, but they have to deal with Brexit, which is hampering their business. It is now more complicated for them to export to Europe and find labor.
