It was in 2016 that the series “Stranger Things” landed on Netflix. Seven years later, fans of the program were patiently awaiting the arrival of season 5, which will also be the last. Unfortunately for them, the filming of the final episodes was delayed due to the current strike in Hollywood.
“While we are excited to begin production with our incredible cast and crew, this is not possible during this strike”, said series creators Matt and Ross Duffer last May. It now appears clear that the series will not arrive on the platform before 2025.
Millie Bobby Brown, who was only 12 years old when she started playing in the famous series, is now 19 years old and is even getting ready to get married. In an interview with the English version of Glamor magazine, the young woman explained why she is in a hurry to finish filming the last season. “Filming the show takes a lot of time and it keeps me from creating stories that I’m passionate about. So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you and goodbye,'” she said.
Accomplished actress, Millie Bobby Brown has indeed embarked on a writing project and has just signed her very first novel baptized Nineteen Steps, a work directly inspired by the story of his grandmother during the Second World War. Unfortunately, the actress’ comments caused an uproar on social networks, with fans of the series accusing her of being “ungrateful” towards the series which revealed her to the general public.
We note that the young woman nevertheless specified that this role allowed her to be known and which offered her “the tools and resources necessary to become a better actress”.
