A fifth Canadian killed
A Canadian who lost his life during the conflict between Israel and Hamas, the fifth to be confirmed dead, is said to have thrown himself on a grenade in a heroic gesture to protect his loved ones. As an Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip prepares, a new evacuation window to Egypt is reportedly opening for Canadian nationals there, after the failure of a similar operation last week.
