(Bombay) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Saturday that his country would apply to host the 2036 Olympic Games.
“India is very enthusiastic about organizing the Olympic Games” and “will spare no effort to organize them,” he told a session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Mumbai.
