“Hi it’s Leo, what does it say?”

This Friday, October 13, Israel appears to be preparing a ground offensive against Hamas. The Israeli army has asked half of the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip, more than 1 million of them, to evacuate to the south of this small strip of land 40 kilometers long. The UN is calling on Israel to cancel this evacuation order, fearing devastating humanitarian consequences at a time when there are already more than 420,000 displaced people and 1,400 dead in Gaza. In Israel, the death toll is around 1,200 after the terrorist attacks.

The 27 member states of the European Union will vote this Friday on the reauthorization of glyphosate for 10 years. According to the media Contexte, France wants a 7-year extension despite the controversies surrounding this powerful weedkiller used by many farmers and notably suspected by several scientists of being carcinogenic. Other studies, including one carried out by a European Union agency, consider that there is no particular concern to be had.

And then, it’s a phenomenon that exploded on TikTok with several million views this year. Yamê, artist with a voice never heard before, released his new album last night. It promises to be a hit!
