Two minors, suspected of having kidnapped the host Bruno Guillon and his family, are presented this Wednesday evening to an investigating judge with a view to their possible indictment, franceinfo learned from the Versailles prosecutor’s office, which requested their placement in pre-trial detention.

The suspects, aged 16, were arrested on Tuesday. According to a source close to the case, the Versailles judicial police arrested them in Ivry-sur-Seine, in Val-de-Marne. The Versailles public prosecutor’s office opened a judicial investigation on Wednesday for “theft with a weapon in an organized gang, repeated kidnapping and criminal association”.
From a source close to the case, the first suspect is already known to the police for acts of extortion and violence. He had fled from his closed educational center the day before the kidnapping. The second was known for the same facts.
Bruno Guillon, host of Fun Radio, RTL and France 2, his wife and his 14-year-old son were kidnapped by burglars on the night of Tuesday September 26 to Wednesday September 27, at their home in Tessancourt-sur-Aubette (Yvelines) . A source close to the case told franceinfo that four people had entered the house around 3:30 a.m., breaking a window on the ground floor. According to the same source, the thieves took watches, luxury bags and jewelry.
Bruno Guillon explained that he was threatened with a handgun at his temple, while his wife was tied up and gagged, under threat of a hammer. The burglars also moved into their 14-year-old son’s bedroom, where they tied the child up with a serflex [collier de serrage].
