Sex crimes | Victims of a Longueuil man sought

(Longueuil) A 49-year-old man suspected of crimes of a sexual nature against at least one person of minor age could have caused other victims that the Longueuil agglomeration police service (SPAL) invites to manifest.

Nilton Carreiro was arrested on October 3 and faces charges including computer luring of a person aged 16 and under, sexual contact and obtaining sexual services from a minor for payment.

He was released provisionally, under certain conditions, including prohibitions on being in the presence of a minor and using social media.

The SPAL believes that it is very possible that Nilton Carreiro carried out illegal actions in the Longueuil metropolitan area or elsewhere in Quebec. Police report that he allegedly approached his victims on social media, including OMEGLE and Snapchat, using the username Natethetate.

The SPAL therefore asks anyone with information about Nilton Carreiro to communicate without delay with its investigators. The police assure that all information transmitted will be treated confidentially.
