After the 32nd finals which were held this weekend, the draw for the 16th finals of the Coupe de France took place on Sunday evening. Here are the posters for this round, and the full schedule of matches, which will take place on January 2 and 3.
A Lens-Lille derby, PSG in Vannes, Marseille against Chauvigny
The Lens-Lille derby will be the main poster of this round of 16, while the defending champion, the PSG, will go to Vannes (National 2). Current runner-up in Paris in Ligue 1, Marseille will move through Vienne to Chauvigny (N3).
Brest-Bordeaux, Montpellier-Strasbourg, Monaco-Quevilly-Rouen and Rennes-Nancy
In addition to the duel between Lensois, sixth in Ligue 1 and Lille, reigning French champions, the draw reserved two other posters between elite clubs with Brest-Bordeaux and Montpellier-Strasbourg. Monaco, finalist of the last edition, will attend on the Quevilly-Rouen lawn, current 11th in Ligue 2, while Rennes, winner of the trophy in 2019, will travel to Nancy (L2).
The opponent of Nice in suspense after the incidents of the match Paris FC – Lyon
Nice, fourth in Ligue 1, will receive the winner of the meeting between Paris FC (L2) and Lyon, stopped at half-time (1-1) due to incidents around the Lyon parking lot. The disciplinary committee of the FFF must meet at the beginning of the week and will take “disciplinary decisions” before the round of 16.
Linas-Montlhéry (N3), faller from Angers (L2), will receive Amiens (L2), while AS Cannes (N3) will try to bring down Toulouse (L2) after having dismissed another second division club, Dijon. Bergerac (N2), who eliminated Metz (L1), will host Créteil (National).
