Stéphane Bern’s Heritage Mission grants 178,000 euros to the Château de Linières

This is very good news for the owners of the Château de Linières, in Val-du-Maine, a few days before Christmas: they will receive an envelope of 178,000 euros for restore the main building and the chapel. Stéphane Bern’s Heritage Mission unveiled on Monday, December 20 the amounts granted to each project.

One of the 100 projects selected

The castle, located in eastern Mayenne, was one of the 100 projects selected in 2021 by the Heritage Foundation. It is the only monument selected in Mayenne to receive financial aid. The funds granted to all the projects were in fact collected during the Loto du Patrimoine, organized jointly with the Française des Jeux (FDJ) in September.

The Château de Linières will therefore receive 178,000 euros “to which are added 40,000 euros from the Club of Patrons of the Heritage of Mayenne“, specifies the Heritage Mission in Mayenne.

The Foundation specifies in a press release published on Monday, December 20 that the aid will be donated “to project leaders as the work progresses, on presentation of invoices“.
