At 55, David Hallyday is preparing to release his autobiography which will be published by Éditions Look for noon on November 23. In this work, called Best Album, the son of Johnny Hallyday recounts his “extraordinary life” as the son of a famous actor and a successful singer. A pound is therefore summed up as “a testimony about show business and a close-up portrait of his parents.”
This Friday, October 6, 2023, Renaud Corlouër, former photographer of Johnny Hallyday, was invited to the set of the show Touche pas à mon poste broadcast on C8. The opportunity for the former close friend of the Hallyday clan on the release of this long-awaited book. “Laeticia is very stressed about the appearance of the book because she wonders if he will address the stories of inheritance, if he will return to the history of the burial in St Barth, of how she would also have taken her children away from their fatherthe way she lied to Johnny” first confided a guest about the work.
There is no doubt that David Hallyday will discuss the legal battle which opposed him to his former mother-in-law Laeticia Hallyday, regarding the inheritance of Johnny Hallyday. “I think there will actually be a passage on Laeticia but he will not come and wash his dirty linen in public, he did not do it at the time when he had legitimate reasons to do so, he will not do it now.” we then hear.
For his part, the photographer Renaud Corlouër is convinced that this autobiographical will be quite explosive. “For me, it’s a little bomb. David has always been extremely elegant and public about his family history. He was always very classy about it. And there, he finally tells his truth, he says things his way. I think they each have their own truth but they can’t agree on that.” So we just have to wait until November 23 to find out.
