On August 20, a triple assassination shook Haiti. A mother and her two daughters were shot dead by a local gang. The bereaved father testifies.
One legendary hit and two sisters who dance accomplices. In Haiti, this video went viral after their assassination. Sherwood Unenclosed was 28 years old and Sarhadjie Unenclosed 24 years. They were killed on August 20 with their mother Josette. The assassination of the three women occurred in the suburbs of Port-au-Prince while they were on their way to university. On the road, they were attacked by the gang of 400 Mawozo. There is no video of the attack. But on a video, filmed when the police arrived, shows the family’s vehicle Unenclosed in fire.
A life “gone up in smoke”
This that day, Jean Simson Unenclosed lost his wife and daughters. “We could only see the wreckage of the car. I didn’t find anyone. I went to a funeral home to check the bodies. The bandits wanted to kidnap them. They resisted. And at that moment, the thugs shot the ladies. My whole life has gone up in smoke.”he testifies.
