Familium is a Czech publishing house created in 2018. After the books Mamy / Grandpa tells us about you, the tree of our life, here comes the board game How was it before?
It’s a new game that allows grandparents to share moments of their lives, and to help loved ones discover family stories, often forgotten and sometimes unseen.
The game features cards with retro photographs that in a playful way lead to the sharing of anecdotes and stories that awaken the visual memory of older players. Cards with questions revisit previously heard or unpublished stories and engage other players, especially younger ones, in asking questions about the family.
You have to listen well to answer questions correctly. The stories told put the times in perspective, children and grandchildren then discover their grandparents or their parents.
This game can be played by 2 to 12 players aged 6 to 120! Playing time: 60 to 120 minutes.
The game features a large game board, cards with retro photographs, question cards and 12 wooden pawns.
