Never in 75 years has New York experienced such precipitation. Authorities have placed the city in a state of emergency. Faced with climate change, titanic work has been launched to protect it.
It’s raining in the subway
The further it progresses, the more a bus is flooded. Users finish the journey standing on the seats. Water is pouring everywhere. Cascading, in the basements of buildings, in the metro where torrents rush down the stairs. Used every day by millions of New Yorkers, several lines had to be interrupted. It’s even raining on the docks. Also paralyzed, La Guardia airport was flooded.
