The Minister Delegate in charge of Industry, Roland Lescure, was invited to answer questions from viewers and Gilles Bornstein on the set of the interactive program “#OnVousRépond”, Friday September 29.
“Today we have talents in France who must be trained, qualified and brought to employment and perhaps elsewhere too, talents who will help us” declares the Minister of Industry, questioned about his statement on franceinfo on September 12 about the need for immigration to “re-industrialize France”.
“Can we take advantage of this to ask ourselves the right questions? Canada, Germany, England are asking themselves” insists Roland Lescure and concludes: “Otherwise, we let the talents go elsewhere and we will not industrialize.”
“What a scandal, what indecency!”
The Minister Delegate in charge of Industry also described as “primary racism”, the parallel expressed by host Pascal Praud between immigration and the infestation of bedbugs.
