Bruno Guillon will long remember this dramatic night of Wednesday September 27, 2023. As revealed a few hours ago, the host was the victim of a terrible burglary while he was at home with his partner and their son. The events took place in their residence in Tessancourt-sur-Aubette, in Yvelines, in the middle of the night, around 3:40 a.m.
As reported by Le Parisien, the former NRJ radio star who now works on France 2 was indeed awakened by the thugs who entered the home by breaking the window of a guest bedroom, located on the ground floor. Bruno Guillon explained that he had been threatened by an individual armed with a pistol and a hammer, while his partner was allegedly tied up and gagged. Determined to leave with loot, the burglars managed to steal several of the couple’s luxury personal effects for an amount of around €80,000.

Despite the violence of his attack, Bruno Guillon was back on the airwaves of Fun Radio this Thursday, September 28, 2023.I think you saw, like everyone else, what happened at my house yesterday. I was the victim of an attack“, he declared at the start of his show. And continued philosophically: “I learned two things from this thing: the first is that we are only as rich as our friends, thank you for all the messages you sent me, I believe that the love of people is what that there is more important. I received thousands of messages from my loved ones and from many people I didn’t know who are listeners or viewers. And that’s the first lesson I learned, is that you are only as rich as your friends. I was upset, my family too but we are alive and that’s the main thing“.
With a mind of steel, the 52-year-old host then joked about the situation : “And the second lesson I learned, and this one I’m really going to keep for the rest of my life, is that you have to wear underwear when you sleep. You never know how you’ll wake up in the morning” he said, referring to the fact that the burglars surprised him in his sleep.
If an investigation has been opened for armed robbery by an organized gang and kidnapping, no suspect has yet been apprehended…
